The 2012 Blast Team has been hard at work all year planning for the Biggest Party of the year! We are so excited for another great auction and carnival. This is not only a major source of funding for PTSA activities, but a major source of FUN for our kids! It's a fun filled afternoon with

  • a silent auction
  • live raffle
  • carnival games and inflatables
  • great food
  • a cake walk
  • prize room for the kids

Plan to bring your kids for a great time, and spend a couple of hours volunteering if you can.

PTSA Blast Committee Meetings 2011-2012

The BCS Blast committee coordinates the various components of our annual School Fair, the Blast. Held in the Spring, the Blast is BCS's largest fundraiser and party of the year. Various components of the Blast include a silent auction, a carnival and a raffle. Proceeds from the Blast fund the majority of the PTSA's annual budget.

2011-2012 Co-Chairs: Karen Best and Ken Gilbert

Please support the Blast in any way you can – with the current funding situation for public schools, PTSA support for our students is more important than ever! If you are interested in donating anything to the auction or know any business that would like to be involved please contact the committee chairs or attend one of the meetings.

This great BCS tradition takes a lot of people and hours to pull it off, but if we each do just a bit, it will be a great success! Look for information from your child’s room parent on opportunities to volunteer as we get nearer to the big date, or contact Karen Best or Ken Gilbert to get more involved.
