The 7/8 team at Birmingham Covington School is dedicated to providing a safe, caring environment in which all students are challenged to perform at their highest levels.  The transition from middle school to high school is eased when students are held more responsible for their learning, taught about strategies for learning on their own, and provided with a challenging curriculum.  The teachers on this team are committed to providing students with hands-on, real-world learning activities, integrated instruction, and a cooperative learning experiences.
